About 15 years ago the town of Lemberg, with the approval of Transport
Canada, had an airstrip built. In order to maintain the airstrip the
Lemberg Flying Club decided to host an annual “Fly in Breakfast’ with the
proceeds going to the upkeep of the airstrip. Through posters and other
advertising the club invites everyone to come out for breakfast the 2nd
Saturday in August. With 13 years in the running the club boosts a crowd of
anywhere from 120 to 185 in attendance and at one breakfast they had 25
aircrafts fly in for the event.
