Waldron Community Hall

The community hall is the hub of activity throughout the year within the small community.
Various activities are scheduled for local entertainment.

The residents of Waldron continue to gather at the local cenotaph on Remembrance Day to honour the war dead. They also host their annual fall supper Nov. 11, serving up to 300 people who travel from afar.

Close to 300 people gathered in the village for a three-day Saskatchewan centennial event in August 2005. Buoyed by the overwhelmingly positive response to the first of its kind homecoming event locals are talking of plans to commemorate the Village of Waldron’s 100th anniversary in 2009 as well as thinking about producing a community history book.
