The education system
contained within South Parkland REDA ranges from Kidsville,
playschool and pre-Kindergarten, to Junior high and High school,
to the adult education at the Parkland Regional College.

Kidsville
is a facility where parents and children can have fun together.
The playground is not a drop-off centre, but rather a place
where parents can meet other parents and children can meet other
children. Kidsville is also a great place for your child’s
birthday parties. For more information, please call Nicole at

We are a non profit organization. A way for parents to meet
other parents and kids to meet other kids. 6 & under.
Magic Moments Playschool
which
has been in operation for over 20
years in the community of Melville, is a co-operative playschool
run by a parent board elected by the parents.
They offer both 3 year old and 4 year old classes.
Classes run two days a week for two hours each time.
The Pre-Kindergarten program
is
for children ages three and four who reside in the Melville area.
This early childhood program creates learning opportunities
for children who may require additional support and guidance in
their everyday lives. This
program provides a safe and nurturing environment, modeling the
values of care and respect, and prepares students for a successful
beginning of school.

Davison
School, located within the City of Melville,
is
a newly renovated elementary school with approximately 180
children attending grades Kindergarten to six.
Davison School works with our community in several
different ways, such as:

Grayson School, located in Grayson, just north of Crooked Lake, is a child centered school where all individuals demonstrate that they are ‘Always Progressing’, as stated in their school motto. Their school family includes all people connected with the school, homes, and community.
Grayson School offers:

Miller
Elementary School, located
within the city of Melville, is a Kindergarten to grade 4 school.
It is a member of the ‘League of Peaceful Schools’
where they stress a ‘Family’ atmosphere and encourage students
to work together. They
offer a lot of hands-on-learning with assistance whenever
required. They
offer up to date technologies with 6 computers in every class and
an interactive Smart Board to aide teaching and learning. This
school offers numerous programs academically and socially, as well
as programs in sports and culture.

Valley High School is a Grade 7—12
facility in the heart of the grain-producing region of
southeastern Saskatchewan in the town of Lemberg.
It is nestled on the north side of the Qu’Appelle Valley
and is home to students from the three neighboring communities of
Abernethy, Lemberg, and Neudorf.
Their school is vibrant and strong in many areas including
a Student Representative Council, a SADD program, a Car Club,
athletics program and extra-curricular activities which keep their
students active and involved.

Valley Elementary School, located
in Neudorf, is a Kindergarten to grade six school, with attendance
from the communities of Neudorf, Lemberg and Abernethy.
They have an abundance of extra curricular events
which include: badminton,
team handball, and intramurals that incorporate football,
basketball, table tennis, floor hockey, softball and team
handball. An SRC, elected yearly is responsible for
planning and organizing different fundraising sales, dances and
spirit days. This
school has a strong community spirit, taking part in such
events as: Telemiracle, Camp Easter Seal and Jump Rope for heart.
At least once a month they hold a clinic which consists
of professional coaches who come in to teach the students
about sports that they have excelled in. They also have teachers
from the division put on computer clinics.

Henry’s Junior Elementary School is
a Roman Catholic, Grade K—5 school located within the
City of Melville. Their
mission statement, “Building Great Character—One Virtue at a
Time”, focuses on several areas of growth in the education of
children
- Spiritual Growth: religious education
- Academic Growth: Core French, French Immersion, special education, computer instruction and English program.
- Social—Emotional Growth: Virtues fundraising, speech pathologist, social worker, occupational therapist, educational psychologist and spirit days.

Henry’s Senior Elementary School
